How could such a seemingly powerful and very trusted public figure such as General David Petraeus have got himself involved in the mess that is still unraveling right now? Well, the short answer is that he is weak… just like all men are. He is not the first man with such a reputable job to be brought down to his knees by a woman, and he certainly won’t be the last. Remember Bill Clinton and, to a lesser extent, Anthony Weiner? They look powerful to the outside world in their work and everyday life but in secret they are submissive and in need of validation, and that is why people like them come to people like me.

I’m guessing around 90% of the world were surprised to hear this news about the General, but the other 10% of us weren’t really too surprised because we know why things like this happen. A man like Petraeus, and the many men out there like him, need a dominant woman like me to even out the scales in their life. They are usually surrounded by “yes men” who are constantly trying to please and impress them, and that gets old really fast.
